Adept at all styles and comfortable in any environment, Matt Rivero might be found just about anywhere. As trombone/trumpet player with Round Cat Records recording artist Brooks Young Band, Matt has shared the stage with B.B. King, James Cotton, Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes and many others. When not performing in clubs and concert venues, Matt might be found in the pit doing musical theater, combo jazz playing, GB/Wedding/Functions, or playing with a number of New England's big bands. With solid cold reading skills in both treble and bass clef, Matt has earned the reputation within the big band community as:
